(Active 2000 - 2003)
Frequency Meltdown started on a camping trip when we were just old enough to actually have a car. The songs were our first attempts at writing music together, and in some cases just listening makes this quite evident. The main line up for this group was Brian on guitar, Matt Lawrence on keys and me singing, but that changed more and more as we kept it. We had half a dozen or so performances (all in Plaistow), and none but the first had that exact line up.
In 2001, we recorded a full length album, a first for any of us, called Greatest Hits. The drums were all pre-recorded loops but everything else was tracked by us, one instrument at a time. Our earliest, and perhaps biggest fan was Jeremy Bush who we paid tribute to in song. He went on to make several flash videos including songs from Greatest Hits and some others that we did not ask for.
After high school, we attempted to keep the project going for about a year. The songs we wrote during this time were perhaps some of our most well written, but they were never recorded properly. Matt was attending college out of state and Brian and I went on to various other projects.
